Added information on the upcoming expanded Museum
CD with applications pacs and manuals.
-
You should now be using the www.hpmuseum.org to get to the museum. There
are still pages on teleport, but they are no longer being updated.
9/27/98 Status and upcoming events.
-
The museum will soon be leaving Teleport and will only be accessible at
www.hpmuseum.org. This was due to stability problems at Teleport followed
by their insistence that a "one time only $50 fee" for having a domain name
on Teleport must now be (re)paid once per month. Most of my spare time has
been spent finding a new provider and getting set up so I must apologize
for getting behind on email requests.
-
Teleport also added a new fee to run scripts so as of 9/27/98, the museum
search and forum features are now running on a new machine. It's providing
better performance than the old Teleport machines but with the web site now
being partly redirected to a different machine, there could be glitches.
Please let me know.
-
Added ad categories and an easy way to delete individual ads.
-
The rest of my spare time is currently spent scanning application pacs for
the museum CD. Watch for an announcement soon.
